How to play

  1. Aim — drag the angle slider. The dotted line shows a preview of your shot, including water bounces.
  2. Set power — more power for longer shots; softer shots arc shorter.
  3. Plan bounces — from Level 3 on, you must skip the hook off the water at least once (Level 4: twice). Rocks deflect your hook but don't count as water bounces.
  4. Cast — hit the fish to score. Fast shots, planned bounces and first-try hits all earn bonus points.

FAQ

Is this an official How to Fish game mode?

No. This is a fan-made browser mini game inspired by How to Fish's trick shot mechanics. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Dazed Games.

How do I clear Level 3?

Level 3 requires at least one water bounce: aim slightly downward so your hook skips off the surface before reaching the fish. The dotted preview shows you the bounce point.

Why does my hook bounce off the rock?

Rocks are obstacles — they deflect your shot (which can be useful) but don't count toward the bounce requirement. Only water bounces count.

Does my best score save between visits?

Yes. Best score, best level and best combo are stored in your browser's localStorage and persist until you clear your browser data.
